Scenic Drive Tour

Your Norwegian adventure will begin by the famous and impressive Oslo Opera House. Situated right at the head of the Oslo Fjord this modern building will amaze you by the stunning beauty of its unconventional design and the white Italian marble decorating it
Your private vehicle will then take you by the 18-century buildings of the Kvadraturen area closer to the Downtown Oslo where you will see many of the city's major attractions. The Royal Palace, the University of Oslo, the National Theater, the Strotinget or the House of Parliament, the Cathedral of St. Olav, the Grand Hotel and many other attractions are awaiting you on this drive tour

Vigeland Sculpture Park

With over one million visitors every year, the Vigeland Park is Norway's most popular attraction.
It is a unique open-air display of the lifework of Gustav Vigeland, a famous Norwegian sculptor, set amid a gorgeous park famous for its beautiful grounds
Your tour guide will take you through the park to show you more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron, telling you stories about the sculptures and their creator

Folkemuseet

Your vehicle will then take you to the Museum Island of Bygdøy for a spectacular visit to the Norwegian Folk Museum or Folkesmuseet that consists of an open-air museum and an indoor exhibit
The open-air museum boasts a one-of-a-kind collection of 155 traditional houses from all parts of Norway and a stave church from 1200 AD
The indoor exhibits include traditional costumes, handicraft items, objects of the Sami culture and many other heritage items of the proud Land of the Vikings

12:30 – 13:00

Back to the Heart of the City

After visiting the Museum Island your private vehicle will take you back to the city, passing through Akerbrygge, a popular area for shopping and dining
The last stop on the tour is the City Hall or Rådhuset where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded

Return to Ship or Stay in the City
Following your guided drive tour you will have a choice:

to extend your stay in the city on your own (your tour guide will provide you ample instructions on how to get back to your ship by taxi on your own), or
have your guide and driver take you back to the ship (so as to finish your 4-hour tour by your ship)
