Following the drive tour your tour guide will invite you for a walk around the City Center where you'll see first-hand the grandeur of this old European capital.

Jordaan District Drive Tour
Your private vehicle will take you from the ship to the old Jordaan District. Once a working-class neighborhood where Dutch folk culture flourished amid narrow streets and small houses, Jordaan has now become a mecca for arts full of inviting courtyards, upscale art studios and a true photographer's dream with many picture-perfect streets and canals.
While in Jordaan you will see virtually all major attractions this area has to offer:

Anne Frank House
Westerkerk (the Western Church), the burial place of Rembrandt
Brouwersgracht (the Brewers Canal) dubbed the most beautiful street in Amsterdam
Rozengracht, Jordaan's major shopping street with excellent restaurants
Noorderkerk (the Northern Church) in Noordermarkt, the site of February Strike 1941 against the Nazis and in defence of persecuted Dutch Jews
Gable stones on the facades of Medieval houses indicating the profession of their formers dwellers

10:30 – 12:00

City Center Drive Tour
Your tour guide and driver will then take you on an exciting drive tour around Amsterdam's City Center. While on this tour you will be stopping and taking pictures around:

The Dam Square with the magnificent Royal Palace located in it.
The Begijnhof, a tranquil courtyard lined up with authentic Dutch houses dating back to 1528.
De Wallen, or the Red Light District enjoying a truly global recognition.
The former headquarters of the Dutch East Indies Company, the first company to ever issue stock in the early 17th century.
The Amsterdam Stock Exchange established in 1602 and considered the oldest in the world
The New Market Square and the Waag that served as the city gate in Medieval times.
The UNESCO World Heritage Canal Belt built during the 17th century Golden Age and that gives Amsterdam its iconic look
The Bloemenmarkt, the only floating flower market in the world
Artis Royal Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in Europe
Original Dutch Windmills along Amstel River dating back to 16th century

Depending on your interests your tour guide will show you other sights along the way, or you may request any deviation from the tour.

City Center Walking Tour

Your tour will continue with a relaxing stroll down Amsterdam's tangled narrow streets and gorgeous canals in the company of your tour guide. You may continue exploring the city's sights or may opt for a coffee break in one of the many cafes in the area
Note: To minimize costs, your vehicle will depart before your Walking Tour begins

Return to Ship by Taxi or Stay in City Center
Following your tour you will have a choice:

to extend your stay in the city on your own (your tour guide will provide you ample instructions on how to get back to your ship by taxi on your own), or
have your guide escort you back to the ship by taxi (so as to finish your 4-hour tour by your ship)
